You have heard about AI. Your CRM still looks the same.

Most agents have tried ChatGPT by now. It writes a listing description, it answers a question, and then you close the tab and go back to updating records by hand. The tool never actually touched the business.

  • The database nobody worksThousands of contacts sitting there, and no honest answer to who needs a call this week.
  • Follow-up that depends on memoryThe leads that go quiet are rarely the ones you decided to drop.
  • Five minutes of admin per conversationChange the stage, type the note, set the next task. First thing skipped on a busy day.
  • Stages that driftedMoving someone from Lead to Hot Prospect gives you nothing back in the moment, so it does not happen.
  • Tasks created by hand, one at a timeMost lost deals were not lost to a competitor. They were lost to a follow-up nobody scheduled.
  • Software, but no operating systemYou are paying for the CRM either way. The question is whether anything runs inside it.

The technology is not the missing piece. The operating layer is.

What we cover

Three things, demonstrated live.

We will be working in a real CRM environment on screen, not clicking through slides about one.

01

What it looks like when AI can act

The difference between an assistant that answers you in a chat window and one that is given a defined set of CRM actions it is allowed to perform. You type a normal sentence; it works out which contact you mean and which actions it needs, and the records change behind you.

  • Why tool calling is the mechanism the whole thing rests on
  • Where your rules and permissions actually live
  • Why the assistant never holds your CRM key
02

The five jobs worth handing over

The repetitive work that fills an agent's day, and what each one looks like when it is spoken instead of clicked. We will run these against a live database, including the moments where it should stop and ask you first.

  • Updating contacts and writing notes to the timeline
  • Drafting and preparing follow-up email
  • Moving people through pipeline stages
  • Putting people onto existing action plans
  • Creating tasks with a due date and an owner
03

What it takes to actually run it

The honest build. Which parts are configuration you can do yourself in an afternoon, which parts need a developer, and the permission posture that keeps this safe once it is pointed at a live database.

  • Generating a CRM API key, and why it gets its own
  • The integration layer, and why there is no safe no-code shortcut
  • Starting with notes and tasks before anything that sends
  • Read anything, confirm before it changes or sends, never delete

A working session, not a presentation.

What this is not

No hour of “AI is changing everything”

  • Not a talk about where the industry is heading
  • Not a list of prompts to paste into ChatGPT
  • Not forty tools you will never open twice
  • Not a motivational hour with a countdown timer at the end
  • Not a claim that software replaces an agent, an assistant, or your judgement
What this is

One use case, taken all the way down

  • A real CRM on screen, with records actually changing
  • Plain-English instructions, and what each one does to the database
  • The parts that need a key, a plan tier, or a developer, named as such
  • The failure modes, including how it should behave when it is unsure which person you mean
  • Time at the end for your questions about your own setup

Who should be in the room

Agents with a database they are not getting enough out of.

  • You already have leads and past clients sitting in a CRM
  • You use Follow Up Boss, or a CRM with an API behind it
  • CRM upkeep is the part of the week you push to tomorrow
  • Your follow-up is good when you are on top of it, and patchy when you are not
  • You want to understand AI past writing captions and listing copy
  • You would rather spend the hour on your database than on your marketing
  • You want administrative time back without hiring for it yet
  • You are willing to be told which parts of this need real setup

Who is running it

Anu Agency builds this for a living.

We build AI and automation systems for real estate businesses. This particular pairing, an assistant with tool access sitting on top of Follow Up Boss, is one we put together often enough to know exactly where it works and where it needs a person in the loop.

Nick is running the session. It is the same walkthrough we would give a client in an implementation call, with the parts that usually surprise people left in.

Questions.

Is this live?

Yes. It runs live for 60 minutes on Thursday, September 10 at 2:00 PM ET / 11:00 AM PT, with a real CRM open on screen. The last stretch is for questions, which is the part that does not survive being recorded.

Is this just about ChatGPT?

No. Chat is where most agents have already been, and it is not where the value is. This is about giving an assistant a defined set of actions inside your CRM and letting it perform them. We use Grok for the demonstration because it is the pairing we build most, but the pattern is the same with any assistant that supports tool calling.

Do I need to be technical?

No. Everything is explained in plain language, and we will be honest about which pieces you can set up yourself and which need a developer. You will leave understanding the system well enough to brief someone on building it, whether that is us or not.

Do I need Follow Up Boss?

Follow Up Boss is what we demonstrate in, because it publishes an API and it is what most of the agents we work with already use. If you are on a different CRM the specific screens will not match, but the operating model does: what to hand over, what to keep manual, and where the permissions belong. If your CRM has an API, the same build applies. If it does not, that is worth knowing before you invest more time in it.

Is this a sales pitch?

The hour is training, and it is built to stand on its own whether or not you ever speak to us again. We do build these systems for agents, so if you want it implemented we will happily talk about it afterwards. We are not going to pretend otherwise, and we are not going to spend the session on it.

What will I leave with?

A clear picture of what an AI assistant operating your CRM actually does, which of your recurring admin jobs are worth handing to it, what the build involves, and the permission posture to start from. Enough to decide whether it is worth doing, and enough to scope it if it is.

What if I cannot make it live?

Register anyway and we will let you know when the next session runs. We run these weekly. If a recording exists for this one we will send it, but we would rather you came to a live one than watched a replay, because the questions are most of the value.

See it operate a real CRM.
